1. Legal form

1.1 Legal form
The coalition is named "DIGITAL PROSPERITY FOR ASIA LIMITED" (hereinafter, the "Coalition"), and is incorporated as a Singapore Public Company Limited by Guarantee, UEN. 202306106W.


2. Objective

2.1 Objective
The Coalition is established with the aim of advocating for policies that create a conducive environment for technology Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Asia. The Coalition is dedicated to upholding the following principles, recognizing them as instrumental in advancing the interests of SMEs in the technology sector, and driving Asia towards an innovative and prosperity digital economy future.


3. Coalition Values

3.1 Values
The Coalition and its members abide by and seek to promote the following values:

3.1.1 Interoperability: Interoperable, and non-proprietary technology solutions, in contrast to closed, proprietary ecosystems, thus ensuring a level playing field for all stakeholders; and

3.1.2 Transparency: The need for clear, direct, and transparent market entry processes, promoting cross-border collaboration among governments, industry stakeholders, and academia, while avoiding preferential treatment of any particular entity; and

3.1.3 Fair Procurement: Fairness, a level playing field, and freedom of choice in procurement processes, fostering inclusivity and competition; and

3.1.4 Innovation: Adoption of regulations that adapt to emerging technologies, creating an environment conducive to innovation and technological progress; and

3.1.5 Inclusive Collaboration: Open and inclusive partnerships between governments and SMEs, without discrimination based on size of organizations, in policymaking and economic development.


4. Membership

4.1 Membership Criteria
Any person or legal entity that meets all the following requirements is eligible to be considered as member of the Coalition:

4.1.1 It or other entities in its corporate group are a technology firm, including but without limitation uses digital technologies or helps to facilitate the use of digital technologies; and

4.1.2 It must qualify as an SME, defined by having less than 1 billion USD in market capitalization in the previous year; and

4.1.3 It must also support the Objective of the Coalition in Section 2 and abide by the Coalition Values outlined in Section 3.


5. Amendments to the Terms of Membership

5.1 The Terms of Membership can be amended at any time.
